Day Centres, Day Services, Clubs & Drop-ins
This category gives details of some mental health day centres and other day services available to people in Lambeth. Most are run by voluntary organisations (charities) while a few are statutory services run (NHS/social services).
These can be places to find some company and support, to socialise, learn new skills, gain work experience, take part in creative groups or therapy groups, or any combination of these and other activities. There may be self-help and support groups available which offer a chance to share concerns with people who have experienced similar problems and to find new ways of coping with or tackling things.
For a general range of day services and activities for mental health service users see below under 'Some useful organisations and services'. In the 'Sub-categories' list below you'll find services for particular groups of people or dealing with specific issues.
